Calvin James Rowe (Of Moving Colors 2023 Prism Award recipient) is a New Orleans-Based, choreographer and dancer. He has toured nationally and internationally with Lightwire Theater, and FLOCK Dance. He performed for three seasons with Ballet Quad Cities, and three seasons with OMC, returning to perform in OMC's The Tempest as Prospero, and Iago in their production of Othello. Mr. Rowe has also danced and choreographed for the Marigny Opera Ballet in New Orleans, and was the recipient of the Marigny Opera House dance residency in 2025. Calvin has also been a guest artist with TALK Dance and New Orleans Ballet Theater. His work is often presented at the choreography showcase Making Space in New Orleans.
