Recently, Alyssa had the opportunity to create her first evening length contemporary dance work, Untethered Breath. This work began in 2024 as a part of MicroWIP at the Historic Asolo Theater. The completed work was presented at Sarasota Contemporary Dance's in studio series in 2024. It premiered for a second time at the 2025 Fringe Festival in Sarasota with Squeaky Wheel Theatre. An excerpt of Untethered Breath was chosen to be presented in Beaumont, Texas with Aimed Dance Summerfest in July 2025. Throughout each of Alyssa's choreographic pieces, the breath and flow of energy help connect the audience to their own emotions and experiences. Alyssa is the director of Saoirse Movement, meaning Freedom Movement, to find the freedom, beauty, and breath with everyday movement through dance.
