Of Moving Colors’ Protégé Ensemble is made up of an elite group of dancers who demonstrate talent, dedication, and a commitment to further dance education. 

 

Members of this ensemble will not only receive special training, mentoring, and coaching by some of our world-class professionals but will also perform work taken from the company’s repertoire as well as a new piece created and rehearsed by OMC choreographers.

Being a Protégé allows the unique opportunity to train on a professional track and gain exposure throughout the dance community in the city. 

 

How Do I Become a Protégé?

Protégés are selected during the Kick It Out Placement in the fall. If the judges see potential in the dancer, they are asked to stay afterward for the protege audition. If selected by the panel of judges, they will receive an invitation to be a member of the Protege Ensemble for the next 12 months.
