SPRING PRODUCTION - OTHELLO

Led by Artistic Director Garland Goodwin Wilson, OMC will partner with choreographers and creators to provide a dance adaptation of Shakespeare's "Othello."

THE LEGENDS GALA

Each year the theme of the OMC Gala is based on historical legends. This year, we are celebrating Shakespeare and Elizabeth. Guests will be treated to a stunning evening of renaissance-themed food, drink, music, and revelry. Guests are encouraged to come in their most dramatic Elizabethan regalia.

ROSAS REMIX PROJECT

Famous choreographer, Anne Keersmaeker, has offered her movements to the world in the Rosas Remix Project. The project has simple movement for all ages. No dance experience necessary. All are welcome, so come join us!

KICK IT OUT... THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT! 

OMC prepares students for the collaborative project, Kick It Out, with dance classes taught by professional dancers in preparation for performing on stage in a full-scale theatrical dance production. Our annual community production showcases children from throughout the area on stage alongside OMC’s professionals.

Inspired by our Artistic Director's time in Eastern Europe, OMC performed "Clock Tower" again. This work was inspired by one of the oldest astronomical clocks in the world located in Prague.

DANCE FOR PARKINSON'S

OMC is hosting Parkinson's dance classes every Thursday at 9:30-1045 a.m. at Powell Moïse School of Dance. Contact us to learn more. Watch class videos, and learn more about class times and instructors.
