LOVE REVOLUTION
with Big Buddy
We were so honored to continue our partnership with the Big Buddy program to present another production of LOVE REVOLUTION! Our company dancers came together with students from local schools in an exciting showcase that brought our community together and celebrated the arts. After training for months with OMC's company dancers and Artistic Director, youth from around Baton Rouge had the opportunity to show off their hard work alongside professional dancers in a beautiful partnership

hereafter
OMC is on a mission to uplift and enrich the arts in Baton Rouge, and our dancers had an amazing opportunity to do just that! In collaboration with Louisiana Art and Science Museum, inspired by their Egyptian exhibition, choreographer Madilyn Cashio created an original work to be presented in LASM's incredible planetarium. hereafter explored ancient Egyptian beliefs about death, the afterlife, and the journey of the soul, following the soul’s passage from life to death, passing through challenges, differentiating between right and wrong, and ultimately finding peace and rebirth in the afterlife.

CONDUIT
the beginnings
We closed our 24-25 season with an inspired original story from the life of Artistic Director Garland Goodwin Wilson. In partnership with Jency Hogan of Love Acting Studios and Xero Skidmore, featuring original choreography by John Allen and Madilyn Cashio, "Conduit" told a story of connection between strangers, to the past, and to family.
